FAQs

How long does it take to walk through the immersive Van Gogh exhibit? ›

The visit will take around 60 to 75 minutes.

Is the Van Gogh immersive exhibit worth it? ›

We enjoyed the show; yes, they use creativity to bring Van Gogh's works "to life". We arrived mid show and stayed and watched it again from start to end. Very nice visuals. My only complaint is that, for us older visitors, I wish there had been more benches to sit on.

How long should you allow for the Van Gogh immersive experience? ›

The visit will take approximately one hour. Can we buy tickets on the door? Yes, for the next available entry. If you want a specific time and date, you are best to pre-book on line.

What to wear at the Van Gogh exhibit? ›

There is no dress code, but since the experience typically lasts around an hour, we recommend comfortable shoes and clothes.

Which Van Gogh immersive experience is best? ›

—”Immersive Van Gogh” stands above “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.” The animations are crisper, the environment grander and more spacious, the choreography of images somewhat less cheesy, the musical choices more interesting (Handel, Edith Piaf, and Thom Yorke versus a more generically cinematic sounding score).

What paintings are in the Van Gogh immersive experience? ›

The installation includes the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889), and so much more.

Why do I need a cushion for the Van Gogh exhibit? ›

That ticket price included a cushion rental (because most of the seating was on the floor), and once you turned back in the cushion, you received a poster of one of Van Gogh's self-portraits.

What to expect at Van Gogh's immersive experience? ›

The sound and light show lasts 35 minutes and runs on a loop with no beginning or end. Extra rooms: There is a dedicated space for digital art study of the flowers painted by Van Gogh. We invite the visitor as well to watch a 5-minute documentary that provides insight into Van Gogh's painting techniques.

Are VIP tickets to Immersive Van Gogh worth it? ›

HOWEVER, although the VIP package is “worth it” monetarily and theoretically, it most certainly is NOT worth more for the average person. First, your private booth is a sofa against the wall on the upstairs part of the exhibit surrounded on three sides by the fun-house style mirrors they have.

What age is immersive Van Gogh for? ›

Children are classified as 16 years of age and under. Anyone aged 16 and under, must be accompanied at all times by an adult 21+ throughout the exhibition. Children aged 16 and under, must have a valid ticket for entrance into the exhibition. Children 5 years old and younger – no ticket is required.

Is the Van Gogh exhibit good? ›
