During this time, I saw that Michelle not only brought an extensive amount experience to the company as a Human Resources Director, but a passion to build a strong EDI team within our firm and throughout our communities. Michelle immediately dove into our EDI committee and brainstormed many ideas to be incorporated within our carpet of work to prioritize our EDI committee strategies as we move forward to build our firm’s culture environment stronger. As Michelle stepped into our EDI Committee, she displayed amazing leadership that flows smoothly within our team, to help our team members understand the reasons why we are here. She helped each of us, when in need, to develop and reach our goals as a team. During our Leadership training, Michelle connected us with speakers to inspire and guide us, connecting the dots between EDI and our field of Architecture and Design. Not only did Michelle help us understand our responsibilities as mentors, but our responsibility to better understand our firm's diversity, to provoke inclusion, and give the best of ourselves, making us a stronger, more united firm. Michelle showed repeatedly that she strongly believes in how EDI always plays a positive role in our firm by providing equal opportunities to the company employees and opening doors to include a wider range of diversity in our communities and throughout the firm.”
• v l “I first met Michelle when she was offering me a position in her role as Director of HR, and I had the pleasure of working with her closely over the next 4 years. In our time together there were many departmental and agency changes occurring; I personally experienced Michelle to be incredibly responsive to these needs and changes from both a personal and professional standpoint.
